RRB Group D 2026 — Eligibility, Exam Pattern aur Preparation Complete Guide

RRB Group D Kya Hai?

RRB Group D Indian Railways mein Track Maintainer Grade IV, Helper/Assistant Pointsman, Level-1 posts ke liye recruitment hai — conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Yeh India ki largest government employer mein entry-level recruitment hai jisme lakhs vacancies aati hain.

RRB Group D mein kaam hota hai railway track maintenance, yard operations, engine shed work, carriage and wagon maintenance jaise field operations mein. Yeh pure outdoor aur physically demanding job hai — PET (Physical Efficiency Test) compulsory hai.

Eligibility — Kaun Apply Kar Sakta Hai?

• Qualification: 10th pass (Matric) + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) — OR 10th pass without ITI bhi eligible (directly)
• Age: 18 to 36 years (General). Cut-off date notification mein specify hoti hai
• Nationality: Indian citizen

Note: Agar ITI nahi kiya — eligible ho lekin ITI wale candidates merit mein higher position pe the historically. Latest pattern mein ITI/non-ITI combined pool hai.

CBT Pattern — Exam Format

RRB Group D CBT (Computer Based Test) mein:

Duration: 90 minutes. Negative marking: 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Visually impaired candidates ko 30 min extra milta hai.

PET — Physical Test Details

CBT qualify karne ke baad PET hota hai:

PET qualifying nature hai — marks count nahi hote final merit mein. Pass karna zaroori hai.
