SSC MTS Kya Hai?
SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) exam Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conduct karta hai — central government ke various ministries aur departments mein Group C, non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts ke liye. Yeh 10th pass ke liye central government job ka sabse popular route hai.
MTS ka kaam hota hai peon, chowkidar, cleaner, daftradar jaise support staff work. Havaldar post CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) aur CBN (Central Bureau of Narcotics) mein hoti hai — outdoor/field duty ke sath.
Eligibility Criteria
SSC MTS ke liye eligibility:
- Qualification: Matric (10th pass) — kisi bhi recognised board se. 12th ya graduation wale bhi apply kar sakte hain
- Age: 18 se 25 years MTS posts ke liye, 18 se 27 years Havaldar (CBIC/CBN) posts ke liye (General). Relaxation per category as per table above
- Nationality: Indian citizen
- Medical fitness: Basic health requirements — specifically Havaldar ke liye PET/PST hota hai
SSC MTS Exam Pattern — New CBT Format
SSC ne MTS exam format update kiya hai — ab 2 sessions mein Computer Based Test (CBT) hota hai:

Havaldar Post Ke Liye Physical Test
Havaldar ke liye SSC MTS exam clear karne ke baad Physical Efficiency Test (PET) aur Physical Standard Test (PST) hota hai:
- Male (PET): 1600m run in 15 min, long jump 14 feet, high jump 3.5 feet
- Female (PET): 1 km run in 20 min, long jump 9 feet, high jump 3 feet
- PST (Height): Male min 157.5 cm, Female min 152 cm
- Chest (Male only): Min 76 cm (unexpanded), expansion 5 cm
MTS posts ke liye koi physical test nahi hota — sirf Havaldar ke liye.

- Reasoning (Session 1): Coding-decoding, series, analogies — NCERT 10th ka practice enough hai
- GK (Session 2): Monthly current affairs + static GK — India GK, sports, awards
- English (Session 2): Basic grammar, fill in the blanks, RC — 10th level English sufficient
