Rajasthan ke Kota shahar mein ICICI Bank ki ek branch mein kaam karti thi Sakshi — ek 26 saal ki Relationship Manager (RM). RM ka kaam hota hai customers ko financial products suggest karna, unki FD/RD manage karna, aur unhe bank ke services se jodna. Lekin Sakshi ne apni position ka faayda uthaya aur sirf 3 saal ke andar 41 customers ka ₹4.58 crore uda diya.

Scam Ka Poora Tarika — Step by Step
Sakshi ka plan bahut calculated tha. Yeh ek din mein nahi hua — 3 saal tak chalta raha bina kisi ko pata chale:
- Mobile Number Swap: Sakshi ne customers ke bank account mein registered mobile number bina bataye apne number pe transfer kar diya. Bank ke internal system mein RM ke paas yeh access hota hai — aur iska misuse kiya.
- OTP Apne Phone Pe Aaye: Jab bhi koi transaction hoti, OTP ab Sakshi ke phone pe aata tha. Customer ko koi notification nahi jaata tha.
- FD/RD Premature Break: OTP access hone ke baad, usne customers ki Fixed Deposits (FD) aur Recurring Deposits (RD) premature tod diye — bina customer ki consent ke.
- Paisa Stock Market Mein Lagaya: Tod ke aaya hua paisa usne stock market mein invest kiya. Stocks mein losses hue aur customers ka paisa dub gaya.
- Fake Statements: Kuch customers ko manually generated fake statements bheje taaki unhe lage ki unki FD safe hai.

- SMS alerts band ho jaayein toh red alert: Agar aapko bank ke SMS aana band ho jayein, toh samjho kuch gadbad hai. Turant branch jaao aur registered mobile confirm karo.
- RM pe blindly trust mat karo: RM aapka dost nahi, employee hai. Koi bhi document sign karne se pehle padho. Blank papers pe sign kabhi mat karo.
- Net banking khud set karo: Apna username, password, UPI PIN sabse khud set karo. Kisi ko bhi — bank staff ko bhi — OTP ya password mat do.
