How to Check Income Tax Refund Status

Method 1: Income Tax Portal (Recommended)

  1. Go to incometax.gov.in and log in
  2. Go to e-File → Income Tax Returns → View Filed Returns
  3. Click on the relevant Assessment Year
  4. Refund status will show under "Processing Status"
